Make sure Jurong Bird Park is included in your Singapore holiday package

So you have decided to visit Singapore, that’s a great move to begin with. Now the big task is to organize your holiday travel so that you get the most out of visiting Singapore. One of the many places that is a Must see is Jurong Bird Park. You may or may not be a bird lover but this bird park will take your breath away.
You may question and ask why? Well here are a few reasons why visiting this place could be worth your while.
In 1968 Dr Goh Keng Swee, wo was then the Minister for Finance came up with the idea to have a Bird Park. He wanted the people of Singapore to have a place to rest and admire and appreciate nature. With this goal he built the Jurong Bird Park which is the first of its kind in Southeast Asia.
It is currently the world’s largest bird park in terms of number of birds and second largest in terms of land area.
Among the many bird showcases you will also get to see:
The Lory Loft which is about 3,000 square meters large and about 9 storey’s high. It’s considered to be the world ’s largest walk-in flight aviary for Lories and lorikeets. You will be allowed to offer these birds a special nectar mix and they will just flock to you. Here is a sort video clip to see a glimpse of this place.

The admission price is usually around Singapore Dollar 18 to 20 and they open around 8:30 am and close around 6pm. Here’s to you having a safe trip and happy holidays in Singapore.
